Fall 2014 General Meeting

The Fall Semester 2014 CLC-AFO general meeting will be held on Saturday, August 23 at the Grayslake Campus in P119 (James Lumber Center Theater) at 8:00 AM.  A light continental breakfast will be available and all adjuncts are welcome to attend.  Any eligible adjunct wishing to join the union can do so at the Information Table set up outside the theater.  CLC-AFO President Marilyn Sarich will update attendees on important items of interest and there will be time for a short Q & A session following her presentation.  The meeting will adjourn at 8:45 AM so adjuncts will have sufficient time to make it to their respective division meetings starting at 9:00 AM.

Farewell to CLC-AFO Secretary Caroline Oas

We reluctantly bid a fond farewell to Caroline Oas who has resigned her union position and accepted a full-time faculty teaching position at another educational institution.  Caroline has performed yeoman service to the CLC-AFO and will be greatly missed.  Details will be announced at the August 23, 2014 General Meeting on how the Secretary position will be filled.

CLC-AFO Election Results

The votes for Vice President and Treasurer were tallied today, May 5, 2014.

John Carobine was elected Vice President and Brian Smith was elected Treasurer.

We would like to thank Joan Coleman-Almond for running for Vice President. Brian Smith ran unopposed.
